Ordinary people. Collective power. Unbreakable solidarity.
We stand against the systemic abuse and marginalization of immigrants and asylum seekers. We are committed to restoring the dignity and humanity that has been stripped away from our neighbors. Through story telling, mutual aid, public education, direct assistance, we work alongside our community members to identify injustice at every level and offer help to those affected. Like the honeybee, none of us can build the hive alone. But together through collective action, we create something strong enough to heal, restore, and protect.
Our Beliefs
We believe every person deserves dignity, safety, and respect, regardless of immigration status, nationality, language, race, religion, income, sexual orientation, gender identity, or background.
We believe families belong together and should not have to live in fear of unnecessary separation.
We believe access to food, shelter, healthcare, education, legal information, and community support should be available to all.
We believe people should be treated with kindness and afforded basic human rights and due process.
We believe fear, shame and language barriers should never prevent someone from seeking help.
We believe meaningful support begins by listening and learning from those marginalized and persecuted in our community.
We believe in shining a light on injustices in our community to demand accountability for those affected.
We believe in educating the public about their constitutional right to due process, a right that belongs to every person regardless of immigration status.
We believe small individual acts of courage, care, and solidarity can create lasting change within our community.
